Full Time Filter Manufacturing
Job Overview: This position is responsible for the safe production of quality dust collection filters. This product line is essential to the growth and success of Imperial Systems.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Safe set-up, operation, and basic maintenance of all equipment required to manufacture quality dust collection filters; examples include: filter media pleating machine, pleating seamer, core coiling machine, spot welder, urethane dispenser, glue dispensers, shrink wrap machine, cording machine, and various other hand tools and devices as required.
- Perform and document essential traceability information, quality and process checks to specifications.
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping
- Follow all SOP’s and JSA’s
- Operation of forklifts and hoists
- Check quality of work to drawings/specification and part quantity
- Complete paperwork as required. Timecards, process checks, check sheets, etc.
- Other tasks as instructed by supervision
Requirements:
- High school or GED, Vo-Tech or trade school preferred
- 1 – 2 years experience in industrial/manufacturing environment
- Specific skills: Spot welding/welding (preferred), Forklift (preferred)
- Physical abilities: Standing full shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, exposure to loud noises may require hearing protection, exposure to chemicals and fumes may require use of respirator, various sheet metal products may require specific PPE protection, communication with others, some repetitive motion

Maintenance
We are hiring a maintenance worker to join our maintenance team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.
Maintenance Worker Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
- Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues and correcting them.
- Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
Maintenance Worker Requirements:

This position is responsible for the SAFE handing, fitting, welding, grinding, and properly tagging of product being bent on the press brake.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpreting engineering drawings
- Fitting and welding parts for jobs to specifications

General Laborer
Reports to: Plant Manager/Department Supervisor
The General Laborer is responsible for supporting multiple areas of the manufacturing process including fabrication, powder coating, and final assembly. This position assists with material handling, part preparation, equipment operation, product finishing, and shipping preparation while ensuring all work is performed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the movement, staging, and organization of materials throughout the facility
- Hang, prep, wash, and powder coat parts according to specifications
- Select correct materials, finishes, and colors for each job
- Grind, deburr, and prepare parts for fabrication and assembly
- Support brake press operators with setup and material flow
- Inspect work for quality, proper coating coverage, and adherence to drawings/specifications
- Perform basic dimensional checks using measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, etc.)
- Assemble products and prepare finished goods for shipment
- Operate forklifts, hoists, and other equipment as needed (if trained/authorized)
- Load and unload materials, trucks, and trailers
- Complete required documentation including checklists, work orders, and tracking systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company SOPs, JSAs, and safety procedures
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
Education
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Vo-Tech or Trade School experience preferred
Experience: 1 – 2 years in a manufcaturing or industrial environment preferred

Job Overview: The ideal candidate for this position will have a teamwork mentality, high energy, and willingness to get the job done. This position is responsible for maintaining all raw materials that will be used for work orders.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Once items are received into the staging area, this person will move the inventory to their proper location – both physically and within the ERP.
- Using BOMs and Pick lists, pull raw materials from inventory, issue them to work orders within Global Shop, and stage them for production.
- Pull replacement parts – on short notice – to ensure production does not shut down.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all parts inventory within facility.
- Ensuring accuracy of our inventory within the system.
- Cross trained in Receiving positions to fill in where needed.
- Other tasks as instructed by supervisor.
- Assist with inventory counts.

Imperial Systems (Mercer, PA) has a new opportunity for an entry / mid-level Mechanical Designer. This position will include both new equipment and system design in the Industrial Air Filtration industry.
Responsibilities:
- Creating / modifying 3D models and engineering drawings.
- Developing Bills of Materials and routers.
- Understanding, sourcing, and quoting of various components.
