Production Control Assistant

Full-Time Job

This position has the primary responsibility of coordinating production through the filter manufacturing process. Your duties will include daily scheduling, monitoring of raw materials, new order processing and interacting with the sale department in regard to order status.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter new orders from the sales department.
  • Create new work orders for filter production.
  • Complete daily inventory of raw and finished materials for filter manufacturing.
  • Coordinate with purchasing on raw material needs and forecasts.
  • Coordinate shipping of finished products.
  • Liaison between production and sales as to order status.
  • Maintaining and updating production schedule.
  • Reviewing individual orders to determine profitability percentage.
  • Working with accounting to ensure accurate and timely invoicing of shipped orders.
  • Other assignments as requested by Production Control Manager.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Physically capable and available to work overtime.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be well- organized, neat and possess the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of and comfortable with Microsoft based computer programs.

Maintenance Technician

Full-Time Job

This position has the primary responsibility is to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our equipment and business premises. Your duties will include daily repairs as necessary, scheduling required upkeep of equipment and building facilities, maintaining spare parts inventory, and developing/maintaining documented preventative maintenance procedures.

Our ideal candidate will be a versatile person who can work on many different types of equipment, has working knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures, hydraulic/electrical systems, and basic tools. To excel in this position, you must be highly organized and an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication skills.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

  • Support manufacturing to ensure minimal downtime of equipment.
  • Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues.
  • Immediately repair faulty equipment and damaged facilities or structures.
  • Develop, implement, and document preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Plan and schedule repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct periodic safety checks on building, equipment, and systems to ensure applicable standards are met.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks as required/requested.
  • Maintain the inventory records for equipment, spare parts, and supplies.
  • Be knowledgeable in OSHA safety requirements and work to ensure facilities meet those standards.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate in maintenance technology or relevant field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
  • Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be well- organized, neat and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
