Final Assembler
Report To: Assembly/ Shipping Department Manager
Job Overview: This position is responsible for the SAE assembly and shipping of various Imperial Systems equipment and purchased items as required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of forklifts, hoists, shrink wrap heat gun, banding equipment and various other hand tools used in the assembling, moving and shipping of product.
- Basic maintenance of all equipment and tools used
- Ability to read and interpret general assembly drawings
- Prepare product for shipment and load trailers/trucks
- Perform and document essential quality and process checks to specifications.
- Work as part of a team of 2 or more a significant amount of the time
- Perform general cleaning and housekeeping
- Follow all SOP’s and JSA’s
- Operation of forklifts and hoists
- Checking quality of work to drawings/specification and part quantity
- Complete paperwork as required. Timecards, process checks, check sheets, etc.
- Other tasks as instructed by Supervision
Qualifications: Education: Highschool or GED, Vo-Tech/Trade School (preferred)
Experience: 1-2 Years industrial/manufacturing environment
Specific Skills: Hoist operation (preferred), Forklift (preferred)

Mechanical Designer
Imperial Systems (Mercer, PA) has a new opportunity for an entry / mid-level Mechanical Designer. This position will include both new equipment and system design in the Industrial Air Filtration industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating / modifying 3D models and engineering drawings.
- Developing Bills of Materials and routers.
- Understanding, sourcing, and quoting of various components.
- New Product Development
- Works directly with Sales to ensure equipment meets customer’s specifications.
- Effective communication with sales, manufacturing, and purchasing.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Working closely with management on cost savings measures.
- Develop and refine various machine designs to increase productivity.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Min.). or equivalent work experience.

Develop strong relationships with a portfolio of customers both internal and external, while supporting the outside sales team in order for the business unit to exceed sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Primary internal contact for both the customer and respective outside sales representatives – conduit from sales through operations
- Develop and maintain the highest possible customer relationships with current and prospective customers to provide unparalleled customer satisfaction
- Timely processing of customer purchase orders and follow-up with corresponding sales acknowledgements
- Work with price lists to quickly provide quote information based off published list pricing

Order Fulfillment and Production Support Specialist
This position’s primary responsibility is order pulling and production support for our filter manufacturing operations. The Order Fulfillment & Production Support Specialist role ensures customer orders are accurately picked, staged, and prepared for shipment, while also supporting production tasks as needed. This role is essential to the growth and success of Imperial Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Order Pulling and Production Support (Primary)
- Accurately pull and stage customer orders according to sales orders, work orders, drawings, or specifications.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and product quality before releasing orders.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials and finished products.
- Maintain organization of warehouse and production staging areas.
- Complete order documentation and tracking sheets as required.
Filter Manufacturing and Production (Secondary)
- Assist with the safe set-up, operation, and basic maintenance of equipment used to manufacture dust collection filters; examples include:
- Filter media pleating machine
- Pleating seamer
- Core coiling machine
- Spot welder
- Urethane and glue dispensers
- Shrink wrap and cording machines
- Perform and document essential traceability information, quality, and process checks.
- Support general cleaning and housekeeping in production and staging areas.
- Follow all SOPs for safety and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (Vo-Tech or trade school preferred).
- 1–2 years of experience in industrial, manufacturing, or warehouse environments.
- Skills preferred: Forklift operation

Powder Coat Operator
Report To: Plant Manager
Job Overview: This position is responsible for the SAFE handling, hanging, prepping/washing, power coating and properly tagging of product’s being bent on the press brake.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Selecting correct color for each part of each job
- Properly hanging, prepping and washing all parts
- Powder coating all parts to specifications
- Checking powder coating coverage, quality and mil gage.
- Completing manufactured equipment checklist to assure all parts for job are powder coated for assembly
- Properly tagging completed work with required information.
- Follow all SOP’s and JSA’s
- Operation of forklifts and hoists
- Checking quality of work to drawings/specification and part quantity
- Other tasks as instructed by Supervision
